Meet The Team
The Education Centre for the Community (ECC) is a tuition-free school catering to children aged 4 to 17 residing in Phrai Phrattana, a location situated 75km outside of Sisaket, Thailand. Established on July 18th, 2023, ECC Cambodia’s director, Mr Savuth Aem, and Luang Pu Suang Wat Phrai Phattana’s director, Mr Paramet Sriboon, have signed an M.O.U. ECC operates under the strong belief that education holds the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Our primary mission is to offer free educational opportunities to children residing in one of Thailand’s most impoverished regions.
The ECC initiative operates solely on the dedication of volunteers, receiving no financial support from the government or external sources. Under the guidance of a skilled team, ECC provides educational programs both before and after school, along with committed volunteers who assist nearby primary schools.
By focusing on eradicating poverty through education, ECC serves as a valuable resource for students, travelers, and the wider community.
ECC actively seeks opportunities to sustain our operations and broaden our impact through a combination of formal strategies and a compassionate approach. We take immense pride in our accomplishments in establishing a nurturing learning environment that fosters the intellectual, social, and emotional development of our students.
